Interactive Metronome (IM™) is a brain based treatment that uses a computer with a metronome to promote and enhance neurological function most noted by improvements with timing and overall performance. IM incorporates motor planning and coordination by using a metronome synchronized with hand and foot movements; which can be performed during fun and challenging activities within therapy. A variety of children who may benefit from IM include children with: poor coordination, decreased motor planning, ADD, ADHD, gross and fine motor difficulties, language disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia just to name a few.
